Group Therapy & Courses

I’m starting a therapy group and a group course at the end of April 2022: 

  • Therapy Group: Managing Stress, Anxiety, and Panic (6 sessions)

  • Group Course: Learning Self-hypnosis and Meditation for Better Health and Performance (8 sessions)

Group therapy is daunting for some, but the benefits are hard to ignore: it’s cheaper, just as (or more) effective as individual sessions, and allows a sense of community and peer validation around psychological struggles. How To Sign Up

These groups will be held at my office and will be limited to 4-6 people, with a requirement of 3 sign-ups for the group to launch. We will have a set number of sessions, so when you sign up for a group, note the dates to ensure you can attend all sessions.

Before getting the green light to join the group, you’ll need to meet with me 1-on-1 for a 30-minute session to get to know one another and make sure the group will fit your hopes and needs. This short individual session will help me facilitate the group sessions according to your needs, past trauma, current symptoms, etc. (Note: anyone can sign up for a 30-minute, pre-group session, regardless of waiting list spot. Fees

Fees for groups are significantly lower than individual sessions (which are currently at $180/hr for new clients). The initial 30-minute 1-on-1 consultation is $75, and then each 80-minute group session is $75 per person. Insurance usually doesn't cover group counseling. Payment for all sessions is due at the first session.
