Overview

We are excited to facilitate a 2-day introduction into relational hypnosis as a therapeutic tool for self and others. We will lead you on an experiential journey to explore how hypnosis and trance can reconnect you to yourself, others, and possibilities for change.

We both practice a slightly different flavor of hypnosis, yet find it to be profoundly impactful in both our clinical work and personal lives.

The training content will include:

  • Overview of trance phenomena

  • Experiential invitations for group trance

  • Frequent one-on-one practice of inviting trance

  • Basics of matching, breathing, and somatically resonating with client

  • The logic of hypnosis

  • How to think and talk like a relational hypnotist

  • Non-oppositionality and utilization (using client "problems" and "resistance" to invite trance and change)

  • The power of metaphor in change

  • Live demos each day with facilitators and participants

In addition, participants will be provided with:

  • Study journals and pens
